20 things, week two.

P89

Wow. Who knew 40 things would make such a difference. Shawn can EASILY get his lawn equipment in and out of the garage now. And I found a picture of Mama and Daddy that I was missing:). Maggie helped today. She wasn't keen on the spider webs and their residents.

Again today, nearly equal thirds went to trash, donate, and "out by the road." That's entertainment for the Flores'.

Everything except a broken boogie board disappeared last week as we watched with excitement from the living room window. Today, scavengers can get our old sink, an old grill, or a lamp. There's also a couple pots of fake flowers. Are those mine? Weird.

There's also a cornice that was over Hannah's window. It's painted lilac. And it's heavy. Especially if it slips out of your bad hand and scrapes down your ankle.

Hopefully the bits of skin clinging to the edges won't stop a treasure-hunter from loading it in the truck.

Ear yeast?!

P53

Poor Major. Apparently his scratchy shaky tender eared self has fallen victim to ear yeast. Who knew? And Doc says it could be caused by the new food we switched him to. That's bizarre. But OK. So poor little buddy is on antibiotic pills and two types of ear drops. He is so well behaved when I'm instilling the drops. For the record though, he wants everyone to know the Kleenex in the ears is wrecking his machismo.

20 things

My garage needs rehab. I procrastinate. This morning while lying in bed, contemplating my "plan for the day" (as my sweet husband likes to say), I had a stroke of brilliance. Today then. Just now. I got rid of 20 things. I counted boxes full of things as ONE. On my way to Bargain Box. Feels great.
